We want to do everything we can to keep the children in our care safe and healthy! If your question isn't answered below, please contact us.

What are your security procedures for drop off and pick up?
Children of all ages check in and receive two name tags and a security tag that should be kept by the parent.  The child wears one tag, and another is kept by the teacher for the attendance record.  One parent should drop off and pick up children, and must show the security tag at pick up.

How are your volunteers screened and trained?
All our adult volunteers have completed background checks and Mandated Reporter training as well as our training procedure.  At every service, we have at least one person who is CPR/AED certified.

What about food allergies?
We ask parents about food allergies at their first visit to children’s ministries.  Allergy information is printed on the child’s name tag.  We do not allow outside food in any of our nurseries or classrooms (except breastmilk/formula bottles for youngest babies).  No food is served in our preschool and elementary rooms, and on the rare occasion children can recieve a candy prize, all candy is nut free and must be eaten after the child leaves church.

What about children with special needs?
We work with families to accommodate individual needs in a private and safe way.  Please reach out to kids’ ministry staff to discuss a plan for your child.

What is the wellness policy for children's programming?
We ask that all families certify that the following are true:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • Unusual headache
  • Diarrhea

What cleaning and sanitizing procedures are in place?
All rooms and surfaces are disinfected each week.
