With the rising cost of living and the hardship of finding adequate employment, many people are trying to make ends meet and are faced with difficult choices… choices like whether to pay the electrical bill, fill prescriptions or feed their family.
If you find yourself in this situation, please join us at the Care Center. The Care Center exists to provide support to the under-resourced in Glen Ellyn and the surrounding towns in an environment of LOVE & DIGNITY. We offer guests a free meal, groceries and other much-needed resources.
We are open from 5:00 – 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month AND 10:00 - 11:30am the Saturday following each Wednesday Serve (NEW as of April 2021). We serve residents of Addison, Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lombard, Carol Stream, Lisle & Glendale Heights.
We would like to thank the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry for their invaluable partnership. Visit their website at for information on additional resources available in the community.
“I have been coming to your Caregiving Center for months. I would like to say how pleased and grateful I am to come and spend time at the center. I have regained a new found belief in Christ due to the wonderful people who work together to make this night very enjoyable. Each and every person who works there is a breath of fresh air, they are cordial, pleasant, God fearing individuals who make me feel like I am part of the family. It has been awhile since I have seen so many caring, friendly smiling faces at one time.” (Care Center guest)

If you would like to volunteer your time to help at the Care Center, we would love to welcome you to our Volunteer Team. Families with children (9+) are encouraged to join our team. There are many areas in which you can serve and at various different time commitments. CLICK HERE to fill out our online registration form.
"The Care Center is a great and tangible way to be doing the work of God rather than just talking about it."
"I love the relationships I've been able to build with people over the weeks. I also love being able to serve alongside people who I do real life with and attend church together."

The Care Center depends on the generous support of gifts made to Glen Ellyn Bible Church. At Glen Ellyn Bible Church, we believe that God owns everything; when we give, we are simply giving back a portion of what He has entrusted to us. We also believe He has called us to show (e.g. caring for those with physical needs) and share (i.e. caring for those with spiritual needs) the love of Jesus. One vehicle through which we strive to do this is the Care Center. To financially support this effort online, simply click the link below.
