These ministries are considered "up-front" as the participants minister to the church as a whole from a fairly visible location. They are not of more value--they're simply more visible!

We lead the congregation in passionate and authentic worship of Jesus. Our vocal teams lead corporate worship most Sundays, and the worship choir normally leads once a month. Keep an eye on the bulletin for information regarding choir rehearsals. This could be a 1-2 times-per-month commitment if you're involved in both choir and worship team.

These folks serve as a "first contact" to those who come to GEBC...greeting at the door, passing out bulletins, helping people find a seat, assisting in collecting the offering. These two jobs are of extreme importance, as we desire for every person who comes through the door to experience the love of Christ in a Christian community. This is normally a monthly commitment.

We are worship leaders adept at expressing our worship through a variety of instruments, especially those associated with a contemporary rhythm section. Includes, but not limited to, guitar (acoustic and electric), bass, drums and percussion, strongs, brass, keyboards--you tell us what you play and we'll see how it fits in here at GEBC! Depending upon musical needs, this is often a monthly commitment.

Communion servers minister to the Body as they distribute the elements during this sacrament. Communion preparers help behind the scenes as they prepare and clean up the elements. This is a monthly commitment.
