Heiko & Mirjam Wenzel (Hannah, Joshua, Sarah)

Heiko teaches Old Testament at the Freie Theologische Hochschule (FTH, an interdenominational seminary) with about 140 students. He also is involved in teaching in other countries like Austria. Besides his teaching, he pursues a PhD in Islamic Studies to become a resource person primarily for the German-speaking countries in Europe.

Mirjam is involved in mentoring women who study at the seminary or are married to a student. She also serves in the local church. GEBC became the home church for Wenzel family when they lived in the Wheaton area for three years.
