Men's Ministries
Golf Outing (Fall)
All men are welcome to join us during the fall for 18 holes of fun and fellowship.

Men's Breakfasts (Monthly)
We meet at GEBC and enjoy breakfast as we listen to others share with us about life and faith. This is a great opportunity to get to know the other men of GEBC as we connect in community.

Men's Fraternity (September — May)
Fridays, 6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
Tuesdays, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
An in-depth study of topics unique to men, Men's Fraternity provides an opportunity for men to develop strong relationships with one another while experiencing an encouraging and supportive environment of teaching, camaraderie and accountability.

Men's Prayer Meeting (Ongoing)
On the first Wednesday of the month, the men of GEBC meet from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. to pray for one another, and for the issues of those in the church. Join us as we see God work powerfully among us.

Men's Retreats / Outings (October)
Every year, the men of the church gather together for a two-night weekend retreat. Retreats are a good balance of fellowship and study as the men get away from the pressures and demands of life and grow spiritually.

Men's Tuesday Night Basketball (Ongoing)
Tuesdays, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Each Tuesday night throughout the year men gather at Glen Ellyn Bible Church in Rathbun Hall for a friendly game of basketball. If you’re interested in playing, just show up.

Men's Small Groups (Ongoing)
Groups of men meet in homes throughout the week for study, prayer and accountability. Groups are always open to new men.

Men's Work Days (October and May)
This bi-annual event takes place on a Saturday morning when men get together to support the single moms, the senior women and widows of the church. They provide labor and some supplies for “handy man” projects such as cleaning, raking leaves, minor building repairs, etc.

Men's Worship / Prayer Night (Quarterly)
During the year, the men of GEBC come together on a Friday night for worship and prayer. This is a great chance to connect with other men as we focus on our Heavenly Father.

Softball (Summer)
During the summer GEBC fields a men's softball team that plays within the local church league. The team roster is put together in the spring.

Women to Women brings together women of all ages and stages who seek to know our Lord and help them mature in godliness through Bible study, prayer, service, fellowship and outreach. This leadership team oversees and organizes all sub-ministries within the Women’s Ministry.

Discuss and Discover Bible Study (September — May)
Tuesday mornings, 9:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 8:45 p.m.
Discuss and Discover is an in-depth Bible study focusing upon applying God’s Word to the lives of women. We have two groups each Tuesday, morning or evening, and our time together includes fellowship, large and small group discussion, prayer, worship and refreshments. Childcare is provided for the morning session only.

Girls' Night Out (September — May)
A series of fun, theme-oriented evenings out with the girls and perfect for inviting friends for their first GEBC event. Past topics have included elegant entertaining, book discussion, women's health and salsa dancing. These themed events (including delicious refreshments) are a great way to learn something new, "hang" with friends and enjoy a special Friday night out.

Service Project Saturdays (December & April)
We gather at the church or off-site and roll up our sleeves in service to help a community organization or local ministry. These worthwhile mornings are a blessing to us as we give of our time to assist with projects for those in need and support a great cause.

Women's Retreats / Equipping Workshops (November, February & March)
A time to come together for a wonderful weekend escape or just for a Saturday to get away from the pressures and demands of everyday life and grow spiritually. These events are an inspiring, fun and relaxing time and a great way to connect with other women.

Entrusted With A Child's Heart (September to May)
1st & 3rd Friday of the month
This is an opportunity for moms with young children to come together for community and a study on the high responsibility and privilege we have in raising our children. Childcare is provided.

Seniors' Ministry
Senior Adult Ministry - SAM (September — May)
2nd Saturday of the month
The Senior Adult Ministry is a monthly social gathering and service organization for all senior citizens of GEBC. Held on the 2nd Saturday of each month, we eat dinner together, and seniors are encouraged to invite their friends for this time of fellowship.

This ministry gives support and encouragement during the loss of a loved one, and offers organizational and practical assistance for funeral planning.

Helping Hands (Ongoing)
When the normal routine of life is interrupted or is simply too much to handle, Helping Hands and Working Hands provides a tangible expression of Christ’s love to those in need: everything from hot meals to basic lawn care and home repair.

We hope to help make your hospital stay more comfortable by visiting and praying with you.

Meets weekly in the worship center or the Student Ministry room (Sat.) and Sr. Pastor’s office (Sun.) to pray for the church, church leadership, Sunday worship services, outreach ministries and each other.

Spiritual Mentoring (Ongoing)
A caregiving ministry, helping people wrestle with and work through difficult life issues.

Small Groups Ministry
Small Groups (Ongoing)
A great way to get connected! These groups consist of 4 to 12 people and are a safe place to grow in faith. Small groups meet in members’ homes and are either led by leaders or by group members on a rotating basis. Each group chooses its own focus including marriage accountability, Bible study, book study, service, etc. Check out our Get Connected page too!
Adult Education
Sunday Morning Adult Education (September — May)
Encouraging spiritual growth through strong biblical teaching, we offer multi-generational Sunday school classes during the 8:30 a.m. service in the Fireside Room. Smaller classes on special topics are also offered throughout the year.

Lunch Connection (Ongoing)
During the year, we will organize lunches for age-specific groups during the third service. This will be a great chance to get to know other people who are going through a similar stage of life.
