Spiritual Care

Sundays, 7:15 to 7:45 a.m.

"...As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword." Exodus 17:11-13

Perhaps sitting and praying for an hour seems stagnant or boring or even ineffectual. Or perhaps you may think it's the pious thing to do. But prayer is the unseen battle that goes on in the spiritual realm. When we come to our Father with humility and faith, He hears and He responds. We don't come to Him as perfect people or with perfect words; we come to Him with an open heart and desire for His will. We recognize that life is changed with prayer.

A prayer group meets weekly on Sunday mornings in the Sr. Pastor's office at 7:15a.m. Please feel free to come as you are able.

We pray for the church and its leadership, for Sunday worship services, outreach ministries and each other.
