He attended Washington Bible College in Maryland and has masters degrees from Wheaton in Intercultural Studies and Educational Ministries. He has served churches in Georgia, Colorado, and Illinois. John and Tammie are proud parents of three children. He enjoys snow skiing, hacking at golf, yard work, taking pictures, travel, long meetings, humor, the Boston Red Sox, and Cape Cod beaches. He loves being on staff at GEBC and is passionate about seeing a quiet revolution of men and women worldwide becoming disciples of Jesus.
christina walker, restoring pastor
Christina serves as the Restoring Pastor at Glen Ellyn Bible Church, overseeing Small Groups, Pastoral Care, and Women's Ministry. She is a graduate of Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA with a masters in Biblical Studies and Theology. Along with her husband, Randy, she moved from California to join GEBC, but both are originally from Arizona and have lived in many different states. Getting married made her part of an instant family with two teenagers. These days, son Eddie is going to med school in Rockford, IL to become an orthopedic surgeon. He and his wife Missy have two children, Ava and Micah (and Christina loves being a grandma!). Daughter Aubrey lives in Southern California. For fun Christina likes to explore new places and new ideas through reading, traveling, and eating.
