If you plan a vineyard today, it will be a minimum of six years before you will drink any wine from that vineyard. It takes four years for a vine to produce its first good crop, which is then aged for two more years before it's ready to drink. That's a long process! Yet, the Old Testament prophet Isaiah describes God's peopl as a vineyard, a people that God has gone to great trouble to nuture and grow, investing his time and energy, and providing them with tremendous care. In the New Testament, Jesus said to his followers, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. I am the vine; you are the branches" (John 15:1-5). Join us as we learn together about God's care for us through Jesus Christ.
